5th Grade Math Wall is a daily short review of math skills. The equations and true/false statements help build relational thinking. The focus on the 2nd nine weeks is to continue to build a foundation of understanding the equal sign and place value. Fraction sentences and true and false statements are also integrated throughout the nine weeks. Mode, medium, mean, and range are also covered during this nine weeks. Class discussions and students modeling how they solved their problems will help build a strong mathematical foundation for algebra. The power points spirals through many fifth grade skills so students can continue working to master all the standards.
