The Statue of Liberty STEM Challenge will engage your students as they learn about World Famous landmarks. Students will construct a models of The Statue of Liberty after they research it. Students will go through the Engineering Process as they build and test their structures using various materials to construct it.

Your students will love designing, creating, and engineering. Students will problem solve and think critically as they complete their challenges.

It is important to keep the challenges open ended so students will start thinking about other challenges or tests they would like to perform.

This packet also contains The Penny and Vinegar Chemical Change Lab! It is a fun lab that will get your students thinking about chemical changes. It’s a great experiment that teaches students that a chemical change involves changing the molecules in a structure. Students observe and form questions throughout this lab.
